The JWH-18 Predicament and International Oddities' Position
On Such Chemicals Past, Present and Future
International Oddities has provided unique herbal cigarette-style smoking options for over 30 years.
We have NEVER taken part in, nor have we condoned the so called "incense" adulterating methodologies involving chemicals like JWH-18 or any such derivative, nor have we created pseudo side-companies to sell these materials as our competitors have.
Again our products NEVER have contained such materials at any point in time. We have not ever participated in the use of such chemicals. From our perspective such materials are in contrast to our vision of offering a product line that compliments Mother Nature.
Competitors have unwisely chosen to sell adulterated and/or counterfeit products confusingly similar to long-standing, well-respected International Oddities brand names such as Krypto® and Rasta, etc. We are in the process of shutting down those enterprises and holding the appropriate parties liable for potentially sullying the International Oddities brands.
Our highly regarded product lines are proudly displayed in some of the most well known tobacco, gift and hookah stores worldwide. Our products ARE intended for smoking and are sold as such. They are not tobacco, yet are all-herbal in nature. We do not try to circumvent any laws by claiming our products are "not for human consumption" or marketed as "fertilizer" or "incense" or any other backwards marketing scheme.
Additionally we will point out it makes little difference what these chemicals are applied to as they are generally not designed to be a quality smoking experience whether herbal, tobacco, or otherwise. Any base ingredient they are applied to generally only serves to be a delivery system for the chemicals themselves and therefore any semi-combustible material from hay, to tobacco, to paper, or even common dirt for that matter could feasibly be used as a carrier for such a chemical. It makes no sense for any "carrier" substances to be blamed by association just because such chemicals may be applied to them, because nearly anything could be used for this purpose.
We find the listing of any so-called herbs or ingredients in these types of products (jwh-018, jwh-073, jwh250, etc.) merely used as a distraction or diversion to remove emphasis from the laced chemical material itself. This was the norm back to the origin of these products (originally popularized in Europe but now outlawed in that region). This practice continues today.
Again we have by choice not taken part in "that" industry. To date we are constantly complimented by the top level echelon of the smoking industry for our creative vision of the future of smoking. International Oddities will continue to offer its unique line of exotic non-tobacco smoking products for the discriminating connoisseur for many years to come.
