The least of which is the fact that a smoking product that is so unpredictable that it is not even sold for smoking through a very poor loophole is not the greatest idea.
That did not stop some of these companies from attempting to steal the widely respected International Oddities product names for use in their questionably legal products. For Example we sued and won in Federal Court one admitted herbal incense supplier and manufacturer for selling King Krypto Herbal Incense. An action that is a blatant violation of our Federal Trademark "Krypto®". The offending company has paid a substantial penalty to International Oddities for basically selling a knock off of the original and well respected Herbal Smoke product which is by the way not only safe, and natural, but found in thousands of professional smoke shops around the World.
Even one of the more well know Herbal Incense companies gave their best shot at stealing intellectual property rights from the 30 year alternative smoking leader International Oddities by selling K-2 kryptonite. The k-2 spice and so called incense blends had to try to jump on our reputation but in the end stopped selling the false herbal incense product.
The side effects of these herbal incense blends would be enough to make a well informed consumer run the other direction but with so much media running stories about the mysterious chemicals in the herbal products some could not resist.
 Finally, with the inevitable outlawing of jwh-18 and spice and k-2 and the other barrage of herbal incense products to hit the market, at least people may become aware that entities like International Oddities (who has spent over 3 decades creating safe alternative smoking products that are natural and actually intended for smoking) produce something that customers have come to know and trust over the often questionable chemicals and unnatural incense goods seen on television. Splice is one such example.
From our perspective on the topic of legal highs and spice and k-2 blends and reviews etc., clearly the most foolish act of all was committed by the owner of GLE, a company with a string of dis-reputable acts for repeatedly violating International Oddities trademarks and even making continued false postings about the origin of our goods. Other herbal incense companies new to the game may claim they did not know just how big a violation of federal trademark law it would be when they chose to impersonate International Oddities' respected products with their herbal smoke incense chemical smokes, but GLE - owner of many smoking sites used through the years to trick consumers - had promised in writing not to impersonate products like Krypto® but did so anyway. Even after losing in Federal Court and being fined $300,000 in penalties, what would make a company lace goods and sell them under International Oddities product names is a testament to the poor judgment epitomised by some of the Herbal Incense dealers.
